Victor Valley Arts and Education Center (VVAEC) is a 501c3 public service nonprofit corporation, founded in 2013, and located in the Mojave High Desert in California.
We envision a new era of access to the arts for the Victor Valley, and particularly the High Desert cities of Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia and Adelanto. Our goal is to build consensus and support among High Desert residents who share our vision of a community where world-class performances are held right here in the High Desert.
We have also expanded our focus to create EACH One/ TEACH One Adult Literacy Program. And after the success last year of our first book festival, we are now planning The Second Annual High Desert Book Festival on October 7, 2017…proudly part of the Victorville Fall Festival.
VVAEC believes that for a community to grow and become well-rounded that the arts, educational programs that augment a student’s core classroom curriculum, and increasing adult literacy rates are as vital as a strong economy.
With an immersion into the arts, comes social progress and provocative intellectual debate. We believe that when you introduce children to the arts early and encourage their talents, you are building dreamers, artists and future supporters of the arts. Those students will grow into adults who are more likely to nurture the arts in future generations.
